Do you know that there are also TVET in Germany? It’s called the Ausbildung or Dual Vocational Training (DVT). The TVET in Germany is a 3-year apprenticeship programme where students will get on-the-job training as well as attending classes at a vocational school.

German companies are assured that graduates from this programme are both competent and experienced. Therefore, it’s not surprising that 50% of German students choose the DVT over studying at a university. In addition, this TVET in Germany is recognised not only in the EU, but also in Switzerland and Austria. That means you can work in the Switzerland and earn in Swiss Franc.

Best thing about this programme? You will get a monthly allowance starting from €950 in the first year and it can get up to €1150 in the third year. That’s enough to cover your living expenses and you will not need to worry about working part-time.
